Again, keeping this short and sweet.
I’ve had a few of you reach out from the earlier post and I can’t tell you how much that means to me. Thank you! My family & I are both safe & sound - some outside events happened, but still - checking in and passing kind words means more than you know. Thank you, again.
Without further ado, let’s get into it:
Really trying to get different with such a limited field.
I wanted recent performances who were positive in their games with putting, approach, ball Striking and tee to green while also being solidly accurate.
Most of the chalk is centering on the $8,500 and up range.
Akshay will be one of the handful of sub $8,500 golfers to reach double digits, and naturally he leads our player pool.
Adam Schenk has caught my eye quite a bit and I think his profile works extremely well here, he’s cheap and he should come in around 8-10% which isn’t terrible considering such a limited field.
I think Lucas Glover is also a solid play here as is Andrew Putnam based on salary to expectations and expected clicks.
The rest is all just kind of a crapshoot, as much of a cop out that is to say.
All the best golfers are all the best golfers and they’re facing no cut and an extremely limited field. With no Scottie or Ludvig to soak up additional clicks or even take the majority of it, it’s spreading out at the top with Rory & Wyndham commanding the most between the two.
I like Sepp Straka & J.T. Poston as well.
Xander, Cantlay, Fleetwood & Hovland all will carry clicks, but they appear to be the leverage plays in the higher priced region if you want to get away from Rory & Wyndham.
Let’s tune up before a big PGA Championship next week!
Enjoy!
